MINDFUL ONE-DAY RETREAT; SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th-- 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

MINDFUL ONE-DAY RETREAT: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17; 9:00-4:00 PM. ALL INVITED TO ATTEND: https://www.encinitasmindfulness.org/retreat-registration

Have you been wondering how best to take the next step and deepen your mindfulness practice?

If you have not attended an extended practice period until now, this IN-PERSON OUT-DOOR RETREAT DAY is a perfect opportunity for you.

EMC has gone through exceptional measures to make these opportunities as affordable and accessible as possible.
EMC will be offering a 1-day in-person retreat at QUESTHAVEN RETREAT CENTER, following all current COVID standards and guidelines.
GO TO: https://encinitasmindfulnenss.org/retreat-registration.

Having the collective energies of mindful awareness available during this critical time while being a part but not separate, facilitates the greater awakening, insight and clarity of the truths of impermanence, unsatisfactoriness and unreliability that is the mark of all existence. These are essential conditioins of the human experience, existing not only during the CoVid-19 pandemic, but throughout one;s lifetime.

Mindful Awareness allows us to be most skillful while offering us greater calm, wisdom and the open-heartedness needed to abide all life conditions and experience. Within the trainable, growable and always available stillness and silence of retreat practice, we strengthen our capacities for love, knowing and growing within and through the wide-open arms of the community of others who holds us, while we
explore and discover our true selves together. The direct experience of sangha is the lifeblood of all practice, particularly retreat practice, where we are each pushed to our practice edge. Because of the presence and capacities of the collective sangha, we are able to invite deeper levels of practice than on our own, which then inspires and sustains us all.

It is our aspiration that we continue practice together through daily practice and retreat opportunities such as these.

We look forward to sharing this experience with you.

Residential Retreats are typically held at Questhaven Retreat Center. However, during this time of “mindful attention” of our holding space for and with each other, we will strictly follow all safety and health protocols during this outdoor retreat.

We love our time “in-dwelling” at Questhaven Retreat Center, which is nestled among chaparral-covered hills in northern San Diego County. The grounds encompass one square mile of coastal wilderness traversed by several miles of nature trails offering hilltop vistas, shaded oak sanctuaries, wayside shrines, seasonal streams, and a variety of wildflowers, birds and wildlife. Wandering these trails, we find release from the stress of outer lives, and come to the stillness and quiet necessary to awaken our inner lives.

*We are grateful for this space. EMC has no affiliation with Questhaven Spiritual Retreat Center.

MARCH 26-MINDFUL ALL-DAY AT QUESTHAVEN

Saturday, MARCH 26, 2022

  • 9:00 AM 4:30 PM

MINDFUL HALF/FULL-DAY RETREAT offers increased stillness and silence within which greater insights, clarity, loving presence and compassion are discovered and grown.   Practicing together for a half/full day shifts our intention from one of daily tasking to the engaged and kind attention towards oneself and one’s own experience, with lots of silence and stillness offered to turn awareness inward.  As we move closer to ourselves, a day of mindfulness offers us the awakened heart/mind through which happiness and freedom are born.

A Day of Mindfulness is practice time purposefully removed from our daily routine and responsibilities, allowing for a rich and beneficial opportunity for continuous mindfdulness practice.

All are welcome to attend. You may choose to attend a full-day or half-day in AM or PM.

$35.00 is the requested cost for the half/$50.00 full-day retreat. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ESSENTIAL SUPPORT.

If unable to attend due to financial hardship, please contact Cary Joel at: czjlaw1@yahoo.com to apply for a partial scholarship.
